TshePaNeo Projects and Services (Pty) Ltd was established in 2014 with the purpose of tackling various projects. In 2018, we expanded our offerings to include transport services. Initially the transport services started by introducing school shuttle and this gave birth to TPN Shuttle. We spend the better part of 2018 doing market research into the transport industry and perfecting our go-to market strategy. It was evident that although the school shuttle market appeared to be saturated, there was still a healthy and sizeable portion of unserviced market in the east of Pretoria.
Other themes that emerged was an increasing demand for female-owned and led transport services as these gave the parents a sense of comfort as far as safety was concerned.
December 2018 during the long school holidays we embarked on an intensive marketing drive readying ourselves for the start of the school year in January 2019 when TPN Shuttle officially opened its doors. We started with only 2 children for better part of the 1st quarter and acquired 4 more children before the end of the quarter (Jan-Mar).
Through our dedication, attention to detail, service excellence, and word of mouth, our business quickly grew to 12 scholars attending various schools and also added university students.
TPN Shuttle currently has a fleet of 4 vehicles including a 14-seater, and we are looking to add more mini-buses in the near future.
TPN Shuttle is a black-female owned transport business founded by Ms Gloria Mokoena, a seasoned professional with more than 20 years’ experience in corporate in the field of auditing and management consulting. Her skills acquired over the years include customer service, communication, training and legislative compliance. Her passion for children and their wellbeing was the inspiration that gave birth of school shuttle services. With the experience acquired she expanded her shuttle services to include corporate and private-hire business for professionals and social groups.
